Yeah Omnidrums!! Sounds great, lovely playing, especially the opening groove I like your use of space. Great feel and you're right - it sounded Phatt on my bitchin system!

I liked some of it...the 4 over 3 with the hihat and toms was cool, felt the drumming on the intro was a little static and literal, but overall the sound and performance was good.

Phat meaning "listened to it once and thought it was cool" or "DOWNLOADED it to the HARD DRIVE and replayed it 100 times already!!"?

    Just need a clarification

I listened to the tune once and what came to mind was a 20 lb pizza. I guess that could be a compliment .

I will definitely take that as a compliment.

I don't think the other guys in the band even know that VC track. It's a rare thing to use that whole displacent thing in rock and I think it worked for the end of this song. It was used to make it sound frantic and as if the song was pulling itself apart at the end.

It's more than about the displacement, it's the atmosphere of the tune...but might just be my odd ears.

Omnid, this was cool...listening to it a second/third time here. Nice range both of dynamics and intensity, loving the drum sounds and the atmospherics over the thrash of bass and drums. The ethereal guitars over the ostinato drums at the end is pretty trancey, and the displacement is effective at further pulling the track apart...100,000 mile trail of stretched red acid taffy. Very conceptual. (Nice site design too.)

Omni the drums sounded great and your playing sounded great. Tasteful and suited the song...

    Keep doing what your doing.
